Sea kindliness

Many modern “trawler yachts” make fantastic holiday homes – large slab sided vessels where maximising volume has been prioritised – but in a strong wind or heavy sea they will be battered by the elements and virtually impossible to handle. They may be terrific at the quayside, but uncomfortable and potentially unsafe in a rough sea.

At the expense of volume we have designed a sea kindly round bilge deep displacement hull, with canoe stern and huge bilge keels to maintain directional stability and reduce rolling.
